MakeCommerce module for OpenCart

This module adds to your OpenCart shop the payment methods available through MakeCommerce gateway. On top of that it will also add a few shipment methods. For Omniva ja Itella SmartPOST both parcel and courier methods are added. For DPD only parcel method. Automatic registration of shipments into Omniva/SmartPOST/DPD systems can be configured, printing of parcel labels right in shop admin interface.

How to install

To install the module on server you either use Extension Installer or copy the module files to the server via some ftp client.

How to configure

After extension has been uploaded, you have to install every sub module under extension setting.

There are several modules that you should activate:

• the main module MakeCommerce (Extensions > Modules)
• the payment method MakeCommerce (Extensions > Payments)
• the shipping methods (Extensions > Shipping):
  – Omniva Parcel Machines by MakeCommerce
  – Omniva courier by MakeCommerce
  – SmartPOST courier by MakeCommerce
  – SmartPost Parcel Machines by MakeCommerce
  – DPD Parcel Machines by MakeCommerce

Once you enabled the modules, you can access the configuration of all those sub-modules from the main module as well:

Next you need to configure MakeCommerce API connection.
Enter your API keys for test or live environment.

If you wish to test payments then choose current environment TEST, and enter TEST API keys. It is possible to use public test keys or on request we can create you a private test account. For this please contact support@maksekeskus.ee.

When you are ready to accept real payments, set current environment to LIVE and enter LIVE API keys. API keys can be found in Maksekeskus self service portal, from menu Settings > API.

Payment Methods

The module adds to the Shop a payment method named ‘MakeCommerce’.

There are also few options to configure how the available payment methods are presented on the check-out page. This can be done in your shop admin panel: Extensions > Payments > MakeCommerce. For payment methods to appear first you must generate the payment methods via payments configuration.

Refunds

The module adds an easy way to make refunds to your customers through, you can also make partial refunds. The refunds dialog can be found in the Order Edit view:

The module adds next shipping methods to the Shop:

DPD Parcel Machines by MakeCommerce

 

When activated they will place respective dropdown lists with parcel terminals to the check-out dialog. You can slightly configure how they are presented.

It’s possible to mark some of your products as “does not require shipping” under product configuration. Under Producst > (select product) > Data tab:

You can define shipping methods availability and price per Geo Zone, as well as purchase amount threshold for free shipping.

Integration with SmartPost, Omniva and DPD

The plugin can automatically create shipments into smartpost.ee, omniva.ee and dpd.ee systems when the order has been paid. Once this automation is activated you can print out the parcel labels right form the shop administration panel (order view).

For this to work you must sign up and create user accounts for your business at omniva.ee, smartpost.ee and dpd, then configure the plugin with username and password of those accounts.
NB! You must enter Omniva WebService credentials, not what you use to to log in to Omniva e-service portal.

For sign-up go to https://www.omniva.ee/business
You will be assigned an account manager, you will find contacts in Omniva e-service.
Send your account manager an email pointing that you want to apply for WebServices account.
Once you get your WebServices account username and password, use them in the plugin’s shipment method configurations settings for the integration.
Omniva requires return address to be filled out (Sender Address). NB! Return address must contain a valid mobile number that starts with country code (e.g +372) and does not contain spaces. 

If configured, the module will automatically create a new shipment in Omniva.ee system.
The shipments going to parcel machine are created as “Parcel machine service”  with  “Parcel arrival SMS” and “Parcel arrival e-mail” (code PA+ST+SF). You will see the shipments listed in omniva.ee e-service (under the list of shipments) only after they have physically handed over to Omniva.

For the Ominiva Courier service you have 2 options – hand the packages over in Omniva Post Office (QP) or take the packages to a parcel machine (PK).

The ‘service type’ is B2C – no manual work or confirming is needed (or even possible) in Omniva business customer e-service.
You will see the shipments listed in omniva.ee e-service (under the list of shipments) only after they have physically handed over to Omniva.
You (and your customer) can track the shipment anytime on omniva.ee webpage.

SmartPOST.ee

For sign-up go to smartpost.ee sign-up form.
Once you get the username and password use them in the plugin shipment method configurations settings for the integration.
If configured, the plugin will automatically create a new shipment in smartpost.ee system when the order gets paid. You will see the SmartPost shipment number in order details.
You can see the shipments created also in smartpost.ee self service interface.

DPD Interconnect

First you need to sign agreement with DPD. Once you have the agreement you need to ask DPD for an Interconnect account (contact your account manager or sales@dpd.ee). Enter Interconnect username and password or API key into plugin settings. After that the plugin can automatically register shipments to DPD system after the order has been paid through MakeCommerce. You can also use transport mediation service via MakeCommerce for parcel machine delivery.
Parcel labels can be printed from orders view. Call DPD courier to hand over the parcels or bring them to parcel machine.
